Lotus & Lime Asian Kitchen brings the flavors we grew up loving under one roof: steaming bowls of pho, crisp banh mi, herby bún bowls, sizzling Thai stir-fries and creamy boba, in Polk City, Iowa.

Everything is made to order with fresh herbs, house sauces and quality proteins. Whether you're here for a quick lunch, a family dinner or a late-afternoon boba run, we keep it fast, friendly and full of flavor. We're at 1010 Tyler St, Polk City, IA 50226, just north of Des Moines. Free parking is available at our Tyler Street location.

Is Lotus & Lime near Big Creek State Park and Saylorville Lake?

Yes. We're in Polk City, a few minutes from Big Creek State Park and Saylorville Lake, and a short drive from Ankeny, Johnston and Granger. Grab takeout on your way to the lake or order ahead online.

What are Lotus & Lime's hours?

We're open 11am to 8pm every day except Wednesday. Starting October 20, 2026 we're closed on Wednesdays; until then we're open seven days a week, 11am to 8pm.

Is Lotus & Lime open on Wednesdays?

Not after October 20, 2026. Starting October 20, Wednesdays are our day off, so the first closed Wednesday is October 21. Wednesday, October 14 we're still open 11am to 8pm.

What kind of food does Lotus & Lime serve?

A pan-Asian menu rooted in Vietnamese and Thai cooking: pho and noodle soups, banh mi, bún vermicelli bowls, pad thai, drunken noodles, curries, chef specials like shaking beef and Korean kalbi, plus boba, smoothies and Vietnamese iced coffee.

Does Lotus & Lime have vegetarian options?

Yes. Most mains can be made with tofu or no meat and extra veggies, and we offer vegetarian pho, eggplant & tofu and tofu bún bowls.

Does Lotus & Lime offer a cash discount?

Yes. Menu prices reflect cash pricing, so paying with cash saves 4%. Card payments include a 4% processing fee. A 15% gratuity is added for groups of 6 or more.

Does Lotus & Lime have boba tea?

Yes. We serve jasmine, black, taro and honeydew milk teas, fruit smoothies, Thai iced tea and Vietnamese iced coffee. Add boba, jelly or popping boba for 50 cents.
